How do I chat? Really. I've never done this. Please help. What do I do first?:)

the chat rooms are usually quiet by day, but usually do have some members chatting at night.

Most of the members here do tend to use the boards to post.
But do check back into chat this evening and later in the night as that is when you are likely to find others there
