light boxes
I have a pretty bad case of Seasonal affect disorder and it does make my life harder come September. So I went and learned about the new technology of the blue wave light boxes. And with the help of family got one. My only question I generally do not think of myself as seriously sensitive to lights. Yet some real bright lights do bother me.
Does anyone know or use the blue wave light box. Should I be worried? I need alot of help at this time of year and it was highly recommended by one of my doctors. So hoping it will work for me. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks. |

Hi Cedar,
Just like you I have more sz. in Sept. and Oct. I feel that a lot of that is because there's less light outside where we can get more seriton from the light which helps stop the sz. If I may ask do you notice that you have fewer sz. in the spring and summer? Each yr. I have fewer sz. in the spring and summer and more in the fall and winter. If you're not photosensitive have a bright light shine right on you and see if you notice a difference in the amount of sz. you have. Here's wishing you well and May God Bless You! Sue |
