Hi! I'm new

Hello Everyone,
I'm new to the boards...having some issues with dizziness after a car accident and concussion. Hope I can get some answers here. I'm so glad I've found this place!

Welcome to the group. It's great to have you as a member. I'm kind of new here as well. I really don't have any advice to give you regarding your condition but just wanted to send you a warm welcome.

Hi Chris and welcome to NeuroTalk. This is a wonderfully supportive and caring community.

I had the same problems as you after my 1st car accident. Had headaches for quite some time.

You'll find the Traumatic Brain Injury and Post Concussion forum at this link: http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forumdisplay.php?f=92 I'm sure you'll find lots of support there!

Hey, Chris. :)

Welcome to NT!! :D How long ago was your crash? If you haven't yet, consider getting an MRI. The symptoms you mention are commonly found in Chiari Malformation patients after such a crash.

Good luck!

LIZARD :)

Hello I'm new, looking for someone to talk to.

I don't like to waste anyone's time; so, I'll cut to the chase. I've been in Chronic Pain because of 2 deformities in my spine for 32 yrs, and have until the last few months have dealt with this condition alone. At one point I socially isolated myself for over a decade, because I could not pretend to be ok after work, and basically did not want to be a burden on other people. So as a consequence I desperately need to talk to someone who might understand or have some empathy regarding the nightmare of a life of Cronic Pain.:Sinking:
