Hi Everyone,

I'm from the RSD forum and I wanted to ask what you take for CFS. Are there any new drugs on the market for it?

It's my biggest complaint with all of my illnesses and now I'm on oxygen at night and that doesn't help me sleep.

My CFS is so bad, that if I am driving, I have to pull over at times. One time me and my husband went to Ky. and I bought a car while I was down there and I swear I drove several miles asleep. It took us over 36 hours to get home when it usually took us less then 24.

I go to sleep reading, watching tv, talking to company. It's awlful.

I remember when I first was diagnosed with it I slept over 15 months straight. I thought I would never get through that. Then this summer I slept for about 5 months straight.

I lost my husband last Nov. and it's made things even harder on me with sleep but I have delt with CFS ever since I was a kid. I am sure of that.

I have tried to find something that would help me with this but nothing works.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Ada

Gosh...that is a good question. I don't suffer from CFS but I hope that something is out there that you can take.

Hi Ada. My daughter has had severe ME for several years, but has been able to research ME and 'CFS' and publish her many articles on her web site.
There is a LOT of misinformation about these illnesses, and I am sure it will be of help to you if you would read her articles.
Look it up at
