Oops - think I have messed up my 1st message!

Hi, I think I have written my fiirst message in the wrong place - I haven't used one of these sites before! Anyway - in fear of repeating myself here... I have had post concussion syndrome for 6 years now, had a car accident 30 years ago with loss of conciousness, fractured jaw and black eyes, was ok after a week or two. 6 years ago I bumped my head twice in a short space of time and the effects have been devastating. My insurer keeps telling me that there is nothing wrong with me, my phsch assessments have come out as average for most things - I keep trying to say that nothing was average pre accident, I have to have sleeps during the day , have headaches, am dizzy when very tired, memory problems etc etc, am trying to work part time - life is somewhat difficult. I was so pleased to find this site as finally I may be able to talk to somebody who knows what I am experiencing - I am not all doom and gloom and do have a sense of humour still - and don't I need it - as I do some strange things at times!! Writing this is an effort. Will I ever get better or is how I am after 6 years as good as it gets? Is there anybody else like me, how do you cope?? Talk to me please!!!

Have you ever had an MRI? If not, I would get one ASAP. You should be checked for scarring, swelling, and brain malformations.

Good luck...

LIZARD :)
