Cysts/lumps on arms

Hi I saw on the pictures thread that Marse was asking if the cysts on her arms were part of RSD. I am not sure the answer but I have developed them too, one on my left forarm amd my left bicep muscle and one benieth my right knee that gets lost when I swell there. They seem to be along either tendon lines or mabie glands I am not sure.. hadn't associated it till now..

Any one else feel hard lumps that move a bit?

Hi Sandel,

I have cist in me. I don't know if they are part of the RSD though.

I have had one removed on my left shoulder, one in my right leg and they were sent off to be biopsied. I have another big one on my right leg and another one that started about 5 months ago on my right thigh. I also have one in my left arm in the bend area.

We had talked about removing the one in my left arm but my Dr. said it has grown around the muscle. The one on the outside of my right leg is too big now too for him to remove it in his office.

I honestly don't know if they are from the RSD. I had 2 removed years ago in my left arm. They were smaller and seemed different though.

I have had a lot of tumors taken out of my insides so I just assumed I was prone to having them.

I have had RSD since about 98 but all of these I have now started after RSD and they seem different then the 2 that was removed years ago.

I never thought about them being part of the RSD.

Hi Sandel,

I am prone to cysts, ulcers and rashes and My Pain team explain them as a result of the dystophic changes caused by RSD/CRPS.
I believe that the increased sweating we often have can cause our pores to clog up which would increase the chance of bacterial infections and then the cysts etc.
Just an idea:wink:Does seem to make sense in my case.
Cheers
Tayla:hug:
