Stress & Neurodegeneration

http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...978&pr=goog-sl

I hope I'm posting this link correctly.

The video is longish - an hour plus, but once you get past the intro, pretty interesting - esp. if you're like me and don't have a TV!

I watched it last night and today am pondering Sapolsky's findings...and wondering what to do about it. Mannose?

Rick, where was that info you posted about the cheap sources of essential sugars? and is mannos one of them? Is it too late for that -or would it be a worthwhile preventative against future neuronal loss?

Juan had an-efriend from Canada who had improved so much from Mannatech products that his DBS was cancelled...Has anyone on this forum tried them?

I am a cynic

Hi,
Sorry to be a cynic but if you Google this firm and its products it is quite enlightening

Don't know anything about the company and don't care but the video was great. (Go Cougars!) I felt like I was back in college and I thoroughly enjoyed the lecture! It gives you something to think about certainly.

Oops!

ECD, I think my post was misleading in that it is essentially about baboons and social stress and the neuroendocrine imbalances that can result....

That Firm was mentioned merely incidentally. (I'm skeptical, too!) :p

Agree, Gaykir, it gives you "something to think about...";)
