Most of us would see the dancer turning anti-clockwise though you can try to focus and change the direction; see if you can do it.

is one more or less likely to have bipolar depending on which side of the brain is dominant? I'm wondering about the stereotype of artists, writers, etc being more prone to BD...

I can see her both clockwise then counter clockwise.

I see her mostly clockwise. But sometimes she seems to switch to counter clockwise.

Years ago when I took these tests, I came out left brained. Now after the dx and the meds, I am more right brain. It's still hard to know that my brain works differently from the brain I grew up with up.

I have to remind myself that things I used to be good at, I now stink at. And I suppose I am good at new things now, but I can't figure them out becuase of the darned brain fog and sluggishness and always wanting to sleep.

I'm with you, Mari - every day in my Mood Tracker log I write "Foggy/Groggy". I can't even remember myself when my brain functioned at a high level.
I only saw the dancer moving clockwise. I couldn't see her move counter-clockwise no matter how hard I tried!

Hi, Molly,
I came to terms with the bipolar many years ago.
But I am still not ok with the Foggy/Groggy you mention.
I feel like my brain is doing something without me and dragging me a long with it.

Staying home and avoid everything keeps me out of trouble and seems to rejuvenate (sp) the brain a little for the next day.
Still, I would prefer to be higher functioning. I dream of getting off these meds.
In the meantime, I guess we manage as best we can.
Do you have any good systems for managing?

At first she went counterclockwise then suddenly went clockwise.
I think you might be right about artists etc. and BP with the clockwise thing.

Okay I just did it again......and she was going both ways! I guess I use both sides of my brain equally?
