The Cops were here
 

I'm a nervous wreck. Doug's roommate mom has been threatening to beat me up over the T.V. that Doug left to me and about an hour ago she was banging on my door. I called the cops and they did nothing but warn her even though she was cussing at me while the cops were at my door getting ready to leave. Doug's roommate has not paid rent in 2 months and now he has his out of town mom and her husband staying with him for the past week rent free. They've taken up the laundry room for 3 straight days and they don't don't even live here. Doug's roommate and his mom's idea is that because Doug's will was not notorized that the T.V. should be their's to sell since Carl is giving up housekeeping and going on the tracker trailer to live with them. But they are no relation to Doug and Doug's dad who was next of kin gave me the T.V. because he honored Doug's will even though it was not notorized. I'm upset and ****** that I have to stay confined to my home because of a bunch of drunks who want to beat my ****.

Oh boy Barbara, don't give in they just want to use up what resources don't belong to them and have no respect for Doug's final wishes. I would call the police again if that woman dares to come over again, did you get to give her a tresspass warning so that if she comes on your property again they can arrest her? :p

Hi all,

I cannot call the owner of the property until Monday as their office is closed till then. Hopefully Doug's roommate and his drunken family will be gone by then.

Do you have a copy of the will, or at least the portion where it says you are to have the TV? Or even something signed by Doug's father stating the facts?
So you have something to show them as proof?

You might able to get a no contact order.??
{ not sure if that is the right name for it}
But for sure keep calling the cops if they bother you again, maybe they'll get locked up for drunk and disorderly.

This is awful that this is happening to you. Don't put up with it, call the cops anytime you have to.

These people are not rational at all and are acting out and taking it out on you.

The cop told Doug's roommate mom that they won't do anything about the T.V. because it is a civil matter. If she wants to pursue trying to get the T.V. she'd have to take me to civil court. Doug's brother carried the T.V. to my house and his father told Doug's roommate I get it because it's in the will. Doug's roommate and mom are drunks and greedy. They want to sell everything for booze as they already had a yard sale today to sell Doug's stuff. They live on a tractor trailer truck and don't need furniture more less my big screen T.V. Doug's roommate is no relation to Doug and is not entitled to Doug's stuff that was not left to him because he is not next of kin. Doug told lots of people that he willed me the T.V. so I will have proof but won't need it because Doug's roommate mom won't be able to stay in town to fool with a court hearing when her husband and her and her son will be all over the country driving the truck.

Hi all,

It is so sad and maddening to see Doug's roommate and his mom giving all of Doug's things to the very neighbor's that Doug could not stand.

I sat on my porch and the you know what walked right past me and didn't even look my way. I'm not scared of her but when they are all out there against me that's another matter.
