looks ok to me.

Skin vitamin supplementation typically has the Vit A,C,Selenium,Zinc,E and Bcomplex.

If you are worried about the Vitamin A, you can skip the "energizer" portion.
The potassium is very small, and so is the magnesium.

If you want to improve skin, he also needs EFAs. My son took EFAs for his acne and it fixed his ADHD and he could stop the Ritalin and clonidine he was on for 5 years. This skin vitamin support does not have any EFAs in it.

I have an EFA thread here. So please take a look at it.

you can get EFAs from food now.

Smart Balance peanut butter, (no added sugars) has 1 gram of Flax per tablespoonful. It tastes great too.

DHA from eggs... Egglands best.

Fish oil from Smart Balance spread.
Olivio has flax oil.

You'll just have to try it I suppose. Taking both the energizer and B-complex,still puts it below a typical B-50. He may not react to it much. It is a personal thing you know. The niacin and folic acid are important for the skin.

do u think primrose is ok for a young adult male? limpia

Well....

That is a tough question. There are people with low levels of GLA. But that needs to be tested for, to give an accurate answer.

The reason I suggest EFAs for your son, is that without them the skin cannot exist/or repair itself. It is MADE from them. So if Omega-3s are lacking in the diet, no drug or other supplement will fix the problem.

It is like trying to build a wall with no bricks. With only mortar.

My son fixed his acne (this is why we started EFAs in the first place).
I had him using one flax oil, one evening primrose, and one fish oil.
This combo fixed his ADHD... so he could taper off Ritalin in 3 mos.
He no longer uses the primrose (for years).

So I started researching things, and learned a boatload!
That brought me 10yrs ago to the internet and these healthboards.

Evening primrose may help, but I don't think it is the 100% solution.
If you choose to use it, I would choose foods high in ALA...like walnuts, and the new peanut butter, and mayo. EFA means ESSENTIAL fatty acid.
Without ALA the first essential building block, you cannot repair your body. Using food sources may be more gentle than taking a capsule. But you still have to get them SOMEHOW.
