Traveling with TENS Unit

Has anyone had a problem traveling (by air) with their TENS unit? I plan on packing it in my suitcase but wondered if anyone had any advice/experience.

I'd just make sure to have a fresh battery in it. A note from your doc might be a handy thing to have as well, just to state what it is and what it is for, and what your medical condition is. You know, like the diabetics carry so that they can take insulin and needles on a plane. If you are flying Southwest you could also probably use that type of letter to get a preboard pass.

I think those are common enough you should not have a problem, but you might want to briing the instruction manuel to show it's a medical device in case there are questions.

Hi Jamy

Hi Jamy,

I have traveled To Canada and the USA with my TENS unit. The only requirement is that you turn it on and I would take a medical document which you that states that you have chronic pain or if it says TENS unit required even better.

You should not have a problem. Best of luck LA and Vegas are pretty close ....perhaps you could come to our So Co meeting on November 3 :D Teasing! ....Just have lots of fun!!!!

Love and hugs,
Victoria
