My Excitement For The Day?

Yes, I'm actually leaving my cave today. I have a PCP appt.:Head-Spin: .. This appt was premade, but I have been sickly all week with this dang eye infection, so I would have had to make an appt anyway for this.

So I will venture out my back door into my minivan with DD at the wheel and off I will go. It sounds easy, right?..Not...I have to go down three steep steps to the garage (withoutg falling on *** and then shuffle to the car, wrangle this chubby body into the bucket seat.

And then there is the getting out of said van and getting my scooter out and getting into the doc's office....and the into and the out of two more times and I'm home....never to leave again, if I can help it.:D

I'll let you know how it goes.....I know you'll be waiting with baited breath.:p:p

See Ya..:Wave-Hello:

I hear you loud and clear, Sal. I have mutilated what's left of my body in so many ways these last few weeks. I'm home now, and I realized this morning (afternoon) when I woke, that I haven't felt "safe" for quite awhile. The falls hurt a lot and I took a few doozies only because of being in unfamiliar territory.

Hopefully, you'll get home in one piece and have a way to kick the yuckies out of your system.

Be sure to let us know how it went.:)

Sally,

WooHoo! Your getting out of the house, seeing the light.....okay it's to the doctors but it can still feel pretty good getting out into the world. Don't fall and just take it slow....

Hope the appointment goes well. I will be sitting by the computer waiting for word.......waiting.......waiting.......

I'M HOME!!!!!:) The Doc said I have a thingy (he used a better word) under my eye lid and gave me some drops and told me to put warm compresses on it. He said hopefully that would do it, but if it's not gone in a week, they'll have to invert my eye lid and take it out. :yikes::holysheep::Help: :Noooo:

He also talked me into the flu shot. He said he got his for the first time in years, because he thinks this is going to be a bad year for the flu.

Oh Cindy, I still don't know how you did that trip as well as you did. You just amazed me. I am so so glad you are home safe now. I'll bet your Daddy did miss you and not just because the freezer was empty.:D

Isn't Home wonderful?? YAYYYYYY!!!!

Would that be a stye? My friend Laurel had one of those recently! She looked like someone had slugged her for a few days! I know, not funny!

And when we went to Topsail Island, of course the wind and the sun and the sand blowing in her face didn't help much! That's why she refused to let me take any pictures of her...but I did sneak in a couple! LOL!

I hope it gets better soon, Miss Sally! :winky:

Was it a chalazion on your eyelid? I had one of those that the doc HAD to invert the eye lid and cut out. Easier process than I imagined actually. Hopefully yours will drain on its own!

Sounds like you had quite the adventure! I wish I had your doctor - last year I made the unfortunate mistake of LOOKING at the flu shot and seeing how big the needle was. It totally freaked me out. So now I never want to have another one and I'd REALLY need to be sweet-talked to get one.

But glad you did! And glad you had a "girls day out" too!

Yes that's it, pantos. I knew it sounded like a fancy nut of somekind.:D I hope the eye drops help, 'cuz I sure don't want to do the other thingy,,EWWWWWW!!

It's always nice to get out with DD....she usualy has me laughing my head off at myself before the trip is over.:D I caught my purse on the go lever of my scooter, while exiting it, getting into car, after Doc's and DD had to pull the key out, because I was going down, man..:Slip: . Then, I couldn't move, I was laughing so hard.:ROTFLMAO::ROTFLMAO:

I just got up from a nap and don' t feel so purty good. I think I may go back to bed. I'm glad to be home.;)

Thanks, Beth..:)

Speaking of Home, how is everything going at home for you.? The last time I heard, your Family was in a bit of an uproar. I hope things have settled down. You sure don't need the stress.

What do you hear from the Ole Boy in CO?
