I'm wondering where everyone is. Are they OK?

I'm OK...... soon heading out for PT (that's Painful Torture :p ) on my left shoulder.

Can you believe it's NOVEMBER?

I sure hope lots of people will check-in....... please

yooohooooo...it's thursday again.

what's everyone's plans for the weekend?

Addy 11-08-2007 03:03 PM

LOL... curious... well, why didn't YOU tell us what's on YOUR plate???!!! LOL

I love your pile of leaves icon above... and I have a question/favour to ask... do you have any clout when it comes to the Smilies that we have here... cuz I'd love to have a musical note one!

Wren, yep... its November... and there are some beautiful leaves out there... everywhere! I love this time of year for the colour... and don't like what follows much... because so many people get stressed out this time of year... :(

David, if you are reading this - in another thread, THANKS for explaining what Nov. Eleventh means to us in Canada, too. (UK is Canada's mother country). Canada celebrates "Boxing Day", too. It now has become a big shopping day in retail - christmas clearance... and people line up for hours to get bargains. Sad world we've become.

So, this being Canada's Remembrance Day Long Weekend, I am off to visit Sparkle and my family in the Kootenays. One of my nephews is attending tech school here so we are driving together after his classes on Friday (about a 7 - 8 hr drive). Sparkle is going to have an early Christmas dinner as family will be away this Christmas. YUM... I can't wait!) On the day that we honour our veterans, we'll be driving home.

Last year, I drove down to the US with a friend to attend a musical production which was celebrating the lost soldiers (Armistice day? )... (Veterans day?)... and I was very moved... no, I was blown away, actually... as I have never before witnessed such pride and patriotism!

So, today, I'm scrambling to get listings up on eBay so that I'm covered while I'm away. The business is slowly growing and I'm learning how to discipline myself... its been interesting, to say the least!

I also joined our local pool which is a few blocks away so I'll be swimming lots over the next two months. Swimming should be on my plate today but I'm afraid I would get everything done if I take the time off.... (ok, call this procrastination or whatever you will.... :lookaround: )

So... whatcha doin'?
