DocJohn: Please...

Ohhh, here's meee again :D. And, if I may, I'd like to ask you for a favor:

While I know things are in transition, please don't delete this thread if the forums move or change name-servers:

http://forums.braintalk2.org/showthread.php?t=270

I don't have a printer attached to my laptop; I'm disabled and have to wait for those times when making it upstairs are possible or until someone comes around to help out. But... it's a topic I want to address in my counseling and ... since I've not talked about it, I think just giving my doc my posts in the thread could facilitate the "talk."

Please.

P.S.: Well, whatta y'know: I didn't chicken out before I hit the Post button.

Thank you.

Bobbi,

I was just wandering around and saw your thread.

Here's a tool that you might find useful: http://www.primopdf.com (It's free.) You can print anything to a PDF file that you can then store on your computer.

I've found it useful for things that I want to save like: copies of my on-line bank statement, on-line receipts for purchases, particular threads in forums that I want to save AND saving it to print later when my crummy printer decides to un-install itself *AGAIN*. The great thing about printing the bank statements this way is that I can print it in 'landscape' mode so that it doesn't truncate the last column like it normally would if I did a screen capture. AND, it's in a format that I can email to someone else if I need to.

It's pretty simple to install and I've been using it for about 3-4 months now with no problems.

Good luck!! Hugs.

Bobbi,

I just saved the thread to my hard drive for you - just in case.

If you use I.E. you can go to
'file'
'save as'
then when it asks 'save as type' chose "web archive, single file .mht"

and it will be saved to your hard drive.

I still have some old BT1 posts saved that way.... and now I have your post saved for you just in case (up to the reply from Alfie which is post #19, if there are more replies over the next few days that you want saved also, just let me know and I will update the saved file on my hard drive to include more replies).

I will delete the file from my hard drive at your request.

Thank you for the idea, Barbara, and for the link!

Wittesea, great minds must think alike; someone sent a PM and suggested the same :). I don't know why the thought of doing a "save" didn't come to mind before, but... got it now :D.
