Social Anxiety-What Works For Me

1- I got off caffeine and alcohol. Avoided juices, vinegar, soda, anything
too sweet. Avoided green, black tea, or any thing caf/decaf.

2- After 3-7 days of the above I took beta-glucan.

B-g officially listed as an immunomodulator. However,
I can take all the b-g I want and never feel an effect as long as I'm
drinking caffeine and or alcohol. IMO, b-g does not work for anxiety.
B-g combined with the above does work. Conversely, just avoiding
caffeine and alcohol will still leave me feeling anxious in public.

I use beta-glucan derived from yeast or maitaki mushrooms.
It costs about $10-$12. Expensive brands can cost $25.00
but I'm not sure if their any better. Neither the yeast or
maitaki seem to have any negative effect whereas normally
I would avoid both. I use 1-3 200mg caps.
