What do you say???
 

What do you say when a 6 year old gives you as many kisses as he can in about 10 minutes and then begins kissing his hand and sticking the kisses in your pocket and then asks you to kiss your hand and give the kisses to him.....


When asked why he responds....

When you can't take the pain any more and you give up....

You can take my kisses with you to heaven...
And I can have your kisses here with me so I won't miss you so much....




I couldn't say a word.... just fought back tears.


This happened to me yesterday....
He has never been told about my mental status...he just knows my body hurts...

What would I do?
I would just drop to my knees, hug the child, thank him, kiss his hand in return.

When I was away from him I'd cry my lonely heart out

Sometimes kids see & know things that adults don't realize.
Sounds like a very sweet kid:)

Wren....I did give him a tight hug..and told him I loved him...I told him I wasn't going anywhere...but he didn't believe me.

Jo...he and his twin brother seem to have always has a deep insight into me... like a lifeline to my soul.
