Okay, O.J. is bound over for trial

The gavel just landed and O.J. & his little band of misguided hooligans will officially go to trial. The pressing question in all this is, will he be convicted?

If so, will it be for this silly robbery or for a silent reason, to deliver justice in his prior bad acts???

I am glad that the judge found sufficient evidence to go to trial, but I do feel it's a waste of tax payers $$ once again. He's doing this for publicity, plain and simple. My opinion. He's a waste of time, energy, and ink.

Hopefully, the jury will be able to separate his celebrity from the facts and judge on the merits of the case.

The silent reason, of course. They've got him in a state with (dare we say), more impartial/intelligent jurors. It helps that he did a stupid thing with the intention of doing so.

Just my 2 cents.

Well, as a guilty pleasure, I admit to serious schadenfreude where he is concerned. When he was found responsible for those deaths in the civil suit, I did a happy dance.:o

If he gets convicted and imprisoned, I'll send each of the jurors a gift!

Me too! Champagne and chocolates all around!! :) I have to admit I'd be happy if he landed in the slammer for a decade or too. I can't forget the smugness on his face when he was found "not guilty" of the murders. :icon_mad:

Did I hear champagne and chocolates?? You gots my vote.:p

I don't know, Cindy, the way Juries have been letting everybody off, with hung Juries, I don't hold much hope for big ole lovable, killer Juice being sent to the slammer.

We can only hope!!

I'm not so sure this time, Sal. There has been that huge, ongoing wave
of disapproval toward that jury. It's hardly possible to miss it and I think the LV crowd may just be a little more enlighted than the previous jury. Add to that, the post-trial civil suit spoke pretty loudly for justice. I honestly believe that this is more of a do-over than anything else and frankly, it was an armed robbery and a felony. I hope they get him for parking tickets too!

One other big difference nowadays is that the general population is a little more accustomed to the science of DNA, etc. and I predict that the new jury may never discuss it openly, but that truth will be somewhere in the back of every mind during deliberation.

Oh! What if he cops a plea for lesser charges!?!

Better get to work on letters to the D.A., I can't sit by and let that happen!!!!
