Greetings from Anatevka

What a delight to find this forum! My name is Rivkah and yes, I am really TevyesDaughter. I grew up on a farm, and yes, I am Jewish.
I was DX with RSD/CRPS six months after a work related injury. Workman's Comp is SLOWLY dealing with this, but I do have one question:

Has anyone experienced dental decay and loss of bone mass in the jaw? This has suddenly happened to me and according to my dental x-rays taken just prior to the accident, I had one cavity, now the Dentist is talking about root canals , bridges etc....

Well, that is it for now, thanks for allowing me to join in and I look forward to "meeting" all of you!

Be well,
TevyesDaughter

Hi, Rivkah! :Wave-Hello: Welcome to NeuroTalk!

Wow, I guess my main question is, how do you like NY??? :)

Hi Rivkah and Welcome to NT. I think I'd get another opinion if your'e questioning the Dental wk that needs to be done. My DD went to the dentist once and called me and said she had 6 cavities.

I questioned it as she goes every 6 months. I took her to my Dentist and she didn't even have ONE. Just a thought.... Glad to have you w/us.:welcome_sign:

Thank you for the warm welcome! NY is okay, but I grew up on a farm, let me tell you, these buildings are taller than any silo we had back home!! (smile)
Looking forward to meeting you all!

Thank you for welcoming me to NT. I posted to the Dental Board asking there about Dentists in NY. You are right a second opinion is always a good idea, I went for three opinions before I accepted the DX of RSD, guess the Docs all had the same opinion ;)
Thank you again!
