Thinking of Dmom3005

Hi, Donna,
'Thinking of you and your trip to the doc earlier today.
Hugs.

Thanks Mari

I'm doing pretty good tonight. It was a rough procedure for me.

But I got through it. No cancer, no signs of anything wrong. Which
is good.

He took biopsies and something else that I can't remember the name.

And I could swear that he said, I have a hernia. But that was something
that didn't make sense at the time.

I have a appointment in a couple of weeks so we will see.

I had lots of trouble with the prep yesterday, so that is interesting to me.
But hopefully that will help me get started on lossing some weight.

I think maybe so.

Hi,

I helped a friend follow the directions for the prep the day before once. It was something. I was sure that the actual procedure was nothing compared to the prep -- but then I didn't actually have to do either one myself.

'Glad that you got some good news re your health.

That's a shame about your mom. I felt unsteady in the mdoc's office today and felt that the place was an accident waiting to happen. That stinks that they couldn't do a better job of preventing her mishap. On the other hand, I guess if someone is going to have a mishap, it might as well happen in the mdoc's office where they will take care of the problem.

I hope that the doc will keep taking care of her during her recovery. May her recovery be full and quick.

And I hope that the Thanksgiving is good for you and your family.:hug:

Thanks Everyone

Honestly I went in knowing I didn't have cancer.

So the fact that he was looking for cancer kind of through me.

But it was good to have it ruled out. I was much better not
having a clue he was looking for that.

And my mom, well it really wasn't the doctor's fault that she
had the accident. From what she said, there wasn't a thing
he could do.

He told her that she fell from a step down, and that her knee
collapsed, and that it just went out from under her. He has
been her doctor for hmmm, over 60 years at least. And I'm
positive he feels worse than she did at the time.

And I know that he will help her with anything she needs. I'm
pretty sure that the office has called as much as possible to
check on her to see if she is doing okay. She has medicare
and very good insurance from my dad who is now gone.

But I know that the company that found the boot didn't think
it would be completely covered, and the office manager told
them to bill anything left to that office. And I'm sure that any
other bills that didn't get paid weren't to be sent to her, but
to them.

I'm also positive her bill for the day was paid by them instead
of insurance, other than any labs that might have been needed.

She has many every visit.
