Thanks Donna. I'm telling myself I can I just hope I can. Right now I can't seem to remember one thing so I stopped thinking about it. I hope it comes back when I get to the test center. And the test is 4 1/2 hours long so it's going to be a long day.

I don't have to be there until 1 and it's a 70 minute drive but I'm leaving now. I've printed directions to and from off Mapquest and Expedia and sent them to my Iphone. I get lost so easy it's unbelievable. And the roads aren't the best right now.

My mom always had this saying about luck and no luck but I can't remember it. I definitely have no luck at all. When do you really look at your driver's license? PA never sent me the renewal notice and it expired in July. We only renew it every 4 years so it's not something fresh on my mind. So I've been driving with an expired license since July. And since it had expired they wouldn't accept it for an ID. She asked if I had a passport but I didn't have that with me. She wouldn't take anything else I had on me for ID. Now I have to reschedule and pay another $292 to take it again. All that studying and worrying for nothing.

I left and I had to sit in the car to stop the tears for a while. I left and turned on my GPS and got confused. The fog was getting really thick and she didn't say to turn right but I saw the green sign for the Garden State Parkway and turned by myself. I drove about 15 miles before I realized I was going north instead of south. I should have listed to her but sometimes she confuses me and I turn it off so I always have the printed directions available.

I don't know what will happen once the partners know that I didn't sit. More fuel to the fire I assume. I'll be the laughing stock there once again. This will probably seal my fate there.

Thanks for all the well wishes and good lucks. I just have to do it all over again. I have to wait for my notice to schedule and then I have to contact the Prometric Center and reschedule sometime in January. December no one sits because they grade that month.

Oh how frustrating that all sounds....
Makes me need to go look at my l,icense....
Do you really need to share that info with the partners just yet...did they know that you were going to test today?
I am sorry that it did not work out.
very sorry....
((((HUGS)))) to you dear girlie,

Hi,
The first thing that came to my mind was thank goodness you did not get in trouble with the cops with out that license. But I am traveling back in time when I was in a lot of trouble with cops and driving while on benzos and,. . . . . well it would take too long to explain. I even go through near trauma each year, just keeping my car license plate up to date. Things are better now. . . .

That would have been nice if you had known to take your passport with you. And I am sorry that you went through that long annoying car ride to get there.

Maybe things worked out for the best. You will be in better shape the next time when you do sit for the test.

I admire you guts for driving during this time. You are doing well. I am good maps too, but never tried the GPS. Sounds like the GPS is helpful.

Try to think good thoughts about yourself. You did very well to get there and back safely. Seriously. Sometimes I find good wherever I can.

Mari
