It's Wednesday......so what!

I guess I have to get serious about this. Had a good yearly physical but she bugged me about getting arobic exercise..said Curves doesn't get the job done. So I admited that we have a treadmill that we hang clothes on cause it's too boring to stare at the wall while walking on it. She said can't you move it? ~sigh

There is no way to "decorate" with a treadmill! Bizi is right..it'd look good in the barn! :D Anyway while Mr.Alffe was playing basketball (yep!) last night I moved the dang thing into our bedroom..figured that was enough exercise for one night...now this morning I'm staring at it. At least I can watch TV while walking (hearing the tv is another matter).

Have a great Wednesday everyone!

top of the mornin' to ya alffe. :D

is there another small gym you could join? buying home equipment to workout with doesn't work for most people. sheesh...and the cost of electricity to run a treadmill!

i'm in a funk. things changed were i live so i don't have the clients anymore. so less exercise for me. more money troubles. oh well. not going to drown my sorrows in a milkshake. :D

drinking my tea. gotta get than water ya know. as long as i didn't drink too much. time to take the kids to school.

Moving the treadmill to watch TV is a good idea. I wish I had one at home. Can't afford it and don't have the room for one either. So I go to the gym. Or I do my "walking" DVD.
Still dealing with the pain of the procedure done last week. My hips are not happy about it this time and I wish I could sleep at night without hurting so much.
I hope you all are doing much better than I am.

Hi Everybody~

Not a good day for me either. I am sick for a few hours when I first get up. No, its not the morning sickness you are thinking about. I just drag my body around until about 11:00 am. I have never heard from the Dr. and I am going to call by Friday, if I haven't heard from him, for it will be a week.

I have never got my treadmill going. I wish it was out of the computer room. Doubt if I would use it anyway.

good morning...sorry you are hurting both billie and wendy...
alffe, they make headsets speakers that you plug into your tv...should be an input area in front by your control buttons...that way you could plug in and listen or then again you could turn it up really loud!
good for you for moving the thing...that was hard I am sure!

Huff, puff...30 mins at 3.5 but no incline...I did it! Biz, I found some head phones but no place on the tv to plug them in.

Curious, we have moved all our "equiptment" into the barn years ago with the exception of this treadmill. There are those ski's out there that I triped over in the dark one year and slit my throat on....there is a stationery bike that belonged to my dad and there's a basketball hoop....none of this got used in the house more than a dozen times. I just have to dicipline myself!!! she said.

Billie I love that tree! Winter is so lovely out the window but not behind the wheel of a car. (I never thought for a moment that you were pg...:p)

(((Wendy))) feel better soon!

Great Title Today!

Boy, what is wrong with us as a group today? I am sick today as well. I didn't get any sleep last night due to the pain in my feet/toes. I just got up to eat some oatmeal and to check in with my dearest cyber-friends.

My friend's husband from SLC, is still dying. Hospice has been there for a couple of weeks already. My friend is a wreck. The kindest thing at this point would be to having him go soon.

Haven't started on Christmas. Well gotta go.

Love to all,
Nancy

Sorry, to hear so many not feeling well. I may call my Dr. tomorrow.l I don't think its fair not letting me know. It's been a week today. How long has others waited for a specialist office to let you know how test turned out? Surely its not bad news, I keep telling myself.

Nancy, until your friend isn't eating, he will probably linger on, or if they are giving him an IV. I think my husband lived about two weeks not eating hardly anything. Its a hard thing to go thru.
Hugs,
Billie
