I will be doing my usual...laundry, going out for lunch on Saturday with Todd and getting movies at Blockbuster. Sunday is football day!
Simple plans but I get to relax a little.

Sounds great wendy!
Have a couple of hubby's students recitals to go to and hubby is playing at a christmas party so his weekend is not his own.
Need to get going today....

Spent the day with the teens on Derrick's special olympics team. Had a great time. Got to ride the bus with the team. Thats not bad really.

Derrick placed 3rd and got a bronze medal. The kids all did well.

Tommorrow is basketball day for Derrick.

watched a movie. main character has depression

Hi,
Hubby and I watched a DVD called Off The Map with Sam Elliott and Joan Allen and a few others. It takes place in New Mexico and makes great use of the mysteries of the desert. Sam Elliott's character is depressed for most of the movie. The director did a great job of showing the bone drenching misery of deep depression without making the movie itself depressing.

Sam Elliot is an amazing actor . . . his character is totally incapable of anything besides sitting in the dark. .. And this is believable to watch . .
Meanwhile his family worries, lumbers on, and hopes he comes out of the depression.

It was uplifting. A bit slow.

I had hoped to go to the beach tonight like we did last Sat but Hubby was running around all day today starting at 6:45 am and he is taking a nap now.

I guess that I should get some work done for Monday. Maybe organize some things too.

I actually did some work in the yard today, filled 2 barrels full of pine needles, leaves and branches...my only bit of exercise today....felt good to do something... Also did some paper work ....getting ready for taxes...yuck!

I have been picking more at my face...still have acne at age 44....knowing that this leaves scars...you think I would not do that....but I still do....
I am not liking my skin care products....the cleaner doesn't really take off the make up...so that always comes off on my white towel...which means my face is still dirty. I have very oily skin.
I have been using acne free ...a 3 part system(like proactive but cheaper) that uses benzole peroxide...which bleaches out my other towels and my sheets.
anyway....
Thanks bobbi for the suggestion about using a towel for harriet...it worked great!
