Hello...Diagnosed 11/07 with Chiari I

I was diagnosed 11/07/07 with Chiari I and will need surgery. Any info will be greatly appreciated regarding what to expect post-op as well as recovery time.

Welcome to the community hon!!! I was diagnosed with Chiari 1 in 2000 and went through decompression surgery myself. Look forward to seeing you on the boards.

Sorry about your Chiari DX. My niece in NC has been dx'd w/it as well, but hasn't opted for the surgery yet.
She is going to Duke Univ in the future to be re`evaluated. Good luck and please keep us posted.
