Look Ma no hands!

Hello everyone-- I've never posted to any forum before. I've been reading and lurking but not posting, because I avoid using my arms for anything unnecessary! I'm dictating this message using Dragon Naturally Speaking version 8. I wasn't sure it would work for a forum. I welcome input and advice from those of you who are experienced Dragon users. (Please excuse awkward sounding messages --they sometimes come out garbled )

I'm relieved and appreciative to find this community. I'm hoping you can help me to find a doctor in Oregon. I seen several doctors but no one can seem to agree a diagnoses (CT, median nerve entrapment, cervical degeneration). I'm getting so discouraged. I'd like to be evaluated by a TOS specialist. None of the doctor lists include Dr.s in Oregon.

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Hi Oregongrl and Welcome to NT. Sorry, I can't be of help in your search, but I am glad you found us and I think you posted quite well. You do better than I do w/both my hands. :)

Look forward to hearing more from you... take care.

Hi, Oregongirl! :Wave-Hello: Welcome to NeuroTalk!

I'm afraid that I don't know much in that department, but it might help to phone neurologists in your area and ask for recommendations. I hope you find answers soon. :)

Hey Hello...
Depending on if you're closer to CA, CO or WA?? - I think those are the states you might need to travel to..:(
Esp. if you are having severe pain.

come on over to our TOS forum and we will see how we can help you.

Hi Oregongrl,

:welcome_sign: I see you have met some our great members. And Jo gave you the link to the TOS forum. We have some great resources on the TOS boardincluding some experienced Dragon users.

As a TOSer its not an easy diagnosis for docs to get too. But we have some very knowledgeable members that might be able to help and offer insight.
