I'm just courious about something and maybe I put 2 and 2 together....
When you have ventricle enlargement, is just any random one or will all of them enlarge? I didn't think about this until my bone pain came back (mildly... I think my shunt is inserted into that bone I can't really tell because of my hair, which has the occasional ear issue.
Which, thinking about the other things that have been going on. (Though my new glasses corrected a problem I did have.) Thanks! |
Some people have their shunt put in initially due to enlargement of just one ventricle, while the others are a normal size. It depends to an extent on what is causing the ventricles to enlarge in the first place.
Generally though, unless there is a problem with one specific ventricle, they will all enlarge to the same extent. |
Thanks for the info.... I was wondering.
