Had a great Christmas but....
I just wanted to say I had a great Christmas. We have traditions that we love.
Bill and I always spent the night at Susan's and Travis's and woke up Christmas morning to watch the little ones open presents. I grew up with that tradition and passed it on to Susan. Only we had 10 kids to crowd into the house back then. The kids got me a lot of things. Too much really but they always do get carried away. Travis believes that the grownups should have a good Christmas too. I hope all of you had a good Christmas. Not so much pain and a lot of family time. Now comes the hard part. We are having Bill's dog put to sleep today. She has cancer. We found out yesterday. I also got a call this morning from my neighbor that her sister died last night. Her sister was just one of the best people I ever knew. When I moved here I didn't know I lived next to Tracy's sister until we got to talking. I am going to try and go see her. As for me, I go to the Dr. this morning for a UTI. I have had it for about 4 days. I think it comes from the IC that causes me to get them often. I am planning on having surgery in January for another female issue that we have decided can't go on no longer. I don't know if we will turn the VNS back on today. We talked about doing it on a very low setting to see if I can have it on with no major side effects. As far as the RSD, I do want to say that most of it is in remission. I am blessed for that and I do know that it can happen. Don't any of you give up on that. The right Dr., the right treatment, and you can get there. As I said, I hope all of you had a great Christmas and I sure hope we all have a better NEW Year. Love you all, Ada |
Such a hard thing to have to do Ada..I'm sorry. Also sorry about your neighbors sister. :( The holiday is hard enough without the added stress.
I'm glad you have a good Christmas with your family. You are such a loving woman...I'm hoping this new year will bring you better health and peace. |
Sorry
Hi Ada,
I am so sorry about what you are going through, we had to have our 13 year old Springer Spaniel put to sleep in October because of a nasal tumour that had spread to his brain. It was the hardest thing me and my mom have ever had to do, I still miss him a LOT. We now have a new Springer spaniel puppy called Jack who is 4 months old and really naughty!! I am so glad that your RSD is in remission and I hope that you continue to have pain free days. Take care LOVE Alison |
Big soft hugs hon, you have been through so much this last year..
I just want you to know your in my thoughts this holiday season Ada, and my wishes are for a happier healthy new year for you.. and for all of us. :grouphug: Sandra |
