Different types of reactions

Perhaps this is redundant but how many of you have differnt reactions depending on what type you eat and whether you are contaminated or not? It could be tummy or neurological or both.

Is this the next level of having been gluten free for almost two years?

Hanna--gluten always gives me a terrible tummyache and then diarrhea--always! I do have many other intolerances--corn, soy, rice, nightshades, squash--they all tend to constipate me and make me feel the bad effects for a couple of weeks sometimes. Wine, liquors, and such will give me a terrible headache, even after the smallest drink and then a tummyache and diarrhea. Our symptoms do all vary--sometimes it seems there are as many symptoms as there are celiacs!

Gluten always makes me depressed, irritated and fatigued and my eyes get red and itchy. Since going GF I have never knowingly ate gluten so I don't know what would happen if I took a big bite. All my reactions have been to hidden gluten and small gluten oopses.

My reaction to yeast is dizziness.

My daughter has less severe reactions now (after 5 years gf) than before, but like Anne said, her oopses have been small. I don't know what would happen if she ate a cracker, for example. (and I don't want to know)

Now, she gets irritable, weepy, fatigued..and has diarrhea for about a week. Haven't seen the neurological symptoms of staggering, leg drag, or eye lid drooping, but she has complained of headache during our last couple suspected glutenings.

I just started a gluten-free diet about 3 weeks ago on a hunch after inflamation of the gut that got so bad my body acted as if it was blocked. I posted details a thread called "a board for me!" here.
