There is a crossover between alkies & TBDs, tick borne diseases- like Lyme disease. WHY? Partially because of the homeless element- homeless people are the highest risk group there is for TBDs- partly because drunk people don't do tick checks and make dumb wonderful decisions like lying down in ticky fields at night to look at the stars- or daytime because you passed out there- AND partially because spirochetal diseases- among their many symptoms- have INTOLERANCE TO ALCOHOL as a symptom! So alcoholism in some people could be a sign of infection itself. Just a heads up!!! If you've ever been homeless in California or New York or New Jersey or Wisconsin or almost anywhere in the USA, you have been exposed to ticks that carry Lyme disease which can cause the following manifestations:

Multiple Sclerosis
fibromyalgia
cfs
ibs
Alzheimers
etc*)!
more rarely Parkinsonian types (like me)
and ALS types (from TBE viruses)
lupus (from Babesiosis)

AND it can manifest purely as

schizophrenia
psychosis
depression!!
bipolar disorder

I will post about IV use and Bartonella on aonther thread. If you have ever been an IV user, you have a VERY high chance of having BARTONELLA, cat scratch disease, especially in New York...
