Hi I posted in the new members area but decided to post a hello here too.

I am a 38 yo mother of 3. Married almost 10 years to a wonderful man I met online.

Have been in treatment for mental illness on and off for about 15 years. Only diagnosed with BP in 2004. In and out of treatment since then due to insurance issues. (The issue being I didn't have any for part of that time.) I now have insurance again and have just started treatment so I am frusterated:rolleyes: and optimistic at the same time. Not sure I like my therapist but I can deal with that. I do like the prescriber.

So thats me. Looking forward to getting to know you good people

I remember reading one time that it is harder to find a good therapist than to find a good friend. I'm not sure if that is true, but for me, it seems close.
At least you like your prescriber/pdoc. That is where the rubber meets the road, so to speak.
