A different sort of search engine....

I use this suggested site:
turbo10(dot)com
quite frequently. There is really nothing elsewhere, that I am currently aware of anyway, quite like "turbo10".... It can save you a lot of useless trawling once you get used to using it.
I have several "collections" hosted there that I find quite useful when looking for spefific information/data/stuff that I use.
Go there, click on "edit my collections" and then click on "Add new collection"
From there it is pretty much self explanatory, though the "tour"might be quite useful for most folks. Read it all, especially the part about "clustering".

If you want a general purpose search engine that offers actually relevant results "clustered" into like subject/related/similar/and-such results instead of merely displaying "the top ____of 2,359,784 results", many of which are paid for placements, and selected by relevance and NOT by how many other sites link to it (the Google algorithms) go here and try: clusty(dot)com. The very best and most useful of the general subject search engines, in my opinion of course, feel free to disagree, BUT, you'll really be missing out by not using this very useful tool.

What the heck, while I'm at it....For all y'all FireFox and derivitives users,
*** click on that search-bar place that says "G"
*** click on "manage search engines"
*** A new web page will open, go down to the bottom of that page to where it says
"addition resources" and click on "Browse through more search engines at
"mycroft(dot)mozdev(dot)org""
*** Go down to the first section titled "Find Search Engine Plugins / Search Providers"
and click on it
*** Go down to the third topic titled "Browse the categories"
*** Pick a category, click on it. Another actually useful waste of time....Have a great time going clickety click, just don't forget that you have other things to do on occasion

The FF thing allows you to easily change the default search engine for the FF search bar too.... Mine is of course set to clusty(dot)com, yours may differ.

Well, I am off to bed now, as soon as I can get this great big dog to stop trying to eat my shoulder I am anyway.....My son and his amazon GF came by today..... we were all sitting outside, it being so spring-like and all, Zach messing with Sasha and she ended up jumping up on the side of his lawn chair and knocked him clean down to the ground....
She is such a good dog...If I knocked my son out of a lawn chair and down on the ground, It would cost me 72 hours in the pokey.... like I said... good doggie!

Have a great day
