Okay, I really don't post much........typing is tough and thought is even tougher!!:)
However, I do lurk and read quite a bit..........You know misery loves company, etc. etc...
I have been in and out of here for awhile now, and with all the familiar names popping up on a regular basis, I went to that other site and wow what a change!?
What the heck happened? My impression is people with MS are not supposed to have fun !? Boring......
Maybe they should look into hiring a Monkey for tech support. Seems like they need someone with a little compassion and understanding! Personality wouldn't hurt either.......Barb

No. When you have any chronic illness you are not supposed to have fun or a personality. LOL.

I do miss the games as they really, really were helping with cognitive issues. Once I get used to this new site and the workings of it, I will have to start some games that several of us found helpful.

No it won't be the word jumble. LOL. I started that one and couldn't play it as I just couldn't figure the words out. It surprised me as I have always loved the word jumbles/scrambles. YIKES!

Glad to have found you all on this site and so far have truly been enjoying it. I will pop over to "the other side" every now and then but I think I found a new "home" here.

we can still have fun and support friends there....
people are hurt now tho, which really doesn't put "us" in the frame of mood to play friends....

i'm trying tho, becuase i think that board deserves our regard, it serves and has served, a very good purpose.

we have a place here for lighter fare... more able to meet our other needs....

i can't wait to open up creatively and spiritually here.... there is the 'creative corner' and the spirituality areas....

but mswold has its place in time, and people there deserve consideration. for all that they have done for us, this must be extremely difficult for them. i'm sure they did not intend to hurt or harm anyone. I think desparate means require desparate measures... or means... measures..... :rolleyes:

anyway... i'm lovin this new place!!!
i'm telling everyone i can in my network of friends and buddies about neurotalk, msworld, cafechronique, ohgreeting.com, myspace, all kindsa ways for us to fill our needs, experience friendships, develop new skills, etc.... and many places we can help others on their journeys.

yes, this place is awesome and came to us all as a gift...a place to reconnect

The other place was also a gift because it brought us together...there are still those that need help and will go there for answers. Just because yes, our hearts were torn out and are hurting. I still can't leave those that need comfort....no we can't play there, but we can help others there.

Ania, it's a little difficult to help others when threads/posts can be held in a que for up to 24 hours until management/moderators "approve" them :(

Thankfully this is improving :)

yes, I posted and it took awhile, but they seem to be getting up faster.

I started a thread and was surprised that it made it through, MS 24/7?...a newbie posted and I was glad it made it to him.

Sorry. As much as I like MSW I am not very optimistic - I had been on the "otherside" the last time this was done. I have first hand experience what it takes to do full board moderation and the dedication and time involved.
