I'm new to the forum and looking for answers to lap band system. I have a vp shunt in my head and it drains into my stomach. I was wondering if lap band surgery could still be considered? I am 51 years old and have been overweight since I was 5. I am 5 feet 6 inches and weigh 235 pounds.
