question about a rule
Can you explain this to me please?
I don't quite understand what "triggering" is. Triggering material without the use of the Trigger Icon (to be added) Thank you! |
things that can be emotional triggering.
the trigger icon http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/im...consb/trig.gif is used more in the mental health forums, but should be used if a post could be upsetting. cause members an emotional upset. does that make sense? the http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/im...b/politics.gif is for political. |
Yes thank you very much!
It's a whole new world and I'm trying to get the lay of the land so to speak :). I had a great teacher who often made the point that the only stupid question was the one you didn't ask ;). So I figured I'd ask :D. |
Wow. Thanks for this information!

Ckepi, if you hadn't beat me to it that was MY question, but I would like some clarification please....
What kinds of things would this include on the emotional part? Talking about a specific crime, talking about abuse of any kind, talking about a specific death, - is this what you mean? Are there more? Thanks...I just don't want to do the wrong thing in here! I'm so tickled to be here! |
It's kind of for anything that might make people feel a bit stressed or upset -
death, violence, abuse that sort of thing the Trigger Icon is just a warning sign that a possibly sensitive subject is being posted -- and might be upsetting thanks for asking |
