Hi'ya Bobby,

I'm reading your posts :). I might not respond to each post (lack of time), but I ammmmmm reading and learning.

I had posted at the BT SD (Spinal Disorder) Forum some time ago about why I care to learn about ALS and, when possible, help in whatever way I might. The short version (since I have guests arriving today and need to get ready) is:

My former - and he's former because he retired from work - Physical Therapist (PT) is related to Lou Gehrig.

The last memory the PT has of his parents was of them dropping him off and abandoning him when he was a small child (age three or four), while he stood there, in a gravel driveway, crying. It was done out of fear and ignorance, and those are the things that I don't want rearing in my life.

You're not here alone, Bobby :).

Have no fear cause thelma is here. Just wondering why myself no one is here. Lot of talk and no action makes them all very dull people.

Best leave before Dave gets here. he's into.

Bobby, your doing a grand Job as usual, I think some folks may think its a waste of time joining and posting here as this forum isn't staying.

Paul Wicks 09-04-2006 02:14 PM

Bobby, whilst I think it's great what DocJohn has done here, I think a lot of people will only trust in "authentic" BT to get posting again. In the ALS world I think a lot of them dispersed other places. Remember we got a big influx of americans at www.build-uk.net the first time BT went down.

A lot of the scientific nitty gritty science talk is going on at the ALSTDF forums, the Canadian forums are getting pretty big, and of course our good buddies at www.patientslikeme.com who you've done very well in promoting!

I think it is good that you post here and that there are links to other places in case people stumble in. Really I'm disappointed that JL didn't consider putting up a links page instead of a "this site ain't workin'" message, it's what I would have done.

1 out 4 voter's think im crazy and ive not voted yet....who could it be ???

thank you bobbi ,,,

jeannie your so nice to me you've helped so much with the registry in getting pals to sign on but i already have a girl friend her name is rama, she doesn't know tho.. so shhh...
i know pals don't want to waste there time .
but for me its raining out and so i sit here sending out links and things about als/mnd to raise awareness and to try to get other pals to sign on the registry.
right now bt2 is a free ride so im riding it and hope it might stay on after bt1 starts back up. i think more is better.

dr.paul,,, like always thanks for all you do.
i think its so cool your the goto dr.paul on plm and your doing a great job.
build uk is a great site for pals from around the world. i know i have used it to reach out to pals but i'am not trying to take pals away from it. im just showing pals other site's for other info.
im not pushing the canadian forum im still banned from there,,its a mod thing like bt1.

http://www.patientslikeme.com/ is the place to be oprah has dr phill, plm has dr paul.

i read most of your posts bobby. :D

i say keep posting. you may not get replies on each thread, but look at the number of views. there are only so many members here so far. the word will spread. i'm sure many who used to post on bt1 have gone elsewhere to post.

I've joined the forums above,

All of the posts on those two sites are about medications and supplements and things that have no validity or proof to work.

I would recommend the following chat rooms because they are safe, honest and full of friendly people:

- Build UK
