Please send healing thoughts...
See this sweet little gal in my avatar? I know she's a cat but she's like a member of our family -- and she thinks so too! I know that all you animal lovers will understand. This is my 10 year old niece, Misha, who stays with her Aunt Bearygood quite a bit because my sister has been traveling a lot the past few years.
Apparently my sister thought something wasn't quite right this past week and a few days ago, Misha started to have a lot of trouble walking. She is now in the hospital and they don't yet know what's wrong. Although it's a possibility it could be something less serious, it could also be something much more. I'm hoping for the best but we fear that the news may not be good. She's having an MRI and x-ray tomorrow. Please send healing and positive thoughts Misha's way and tell your dogs and cats to say a little prayer too. :circlelove: It would be much appreciated. If it's her time to go we will deal with it but it's difficult, especially because she's so young. Thank you in advance. :grouphug: |
oh ((((Bearygood)))) I sure will praying for Misha to be ok!
I fully understand about having a kitty member of the family, and have had to ask for prayers for one of our cats, Shadow, here on a number of occasions. I hope and pray it isnt serious and can easily be treated, and I pray too for strength and comfort if the outcome isnt what we hope for:hug: Most of all I pray that Misha wont suffer. I know its going to be a very anxious time for you let us know when you get an update God Bless Cheri |
I will certainly pray for Misha and my little guy Benton will too. I know what you're going through and the waiting and not knowing must be so unnerving. They are not just animals, they are little people, part of our families.
Please let us know as soon as you find out something. Fingers crossed it's nothing too serious. http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t...atsPraying.jpg |
Thank you so much. I knew that fellow cat or animal lovers would understand. It's definitely hard to think of this cat, who usually sleeps with her stuffed animals (her head's on her beloved platypus in the photo) has been alone in a cage in a strange place for 2 nights. :( I'll update when we have some more news which will hopefully be tomorrow -- and hopefully good! Again, thank you.

I have two fur babies myself, so totally understand. Prayers being sent.

Misha's MRI yesterday morning showed a tumor taking up 80% of a vertebrae on her cervical spine and her condition had deteriorated over the last two days. She was put to sleep in the afternoon in the presence of her loving parents, my sister and her boyfriend. I spoke to Misha by phone before she was put down and although she couldn't really move her head, her ears perked up and her eyes widened.
Thanks again for understanding how an animal can become part of the family and mean so much. :grouphug: |
Beary,
I am so sorry about Misha. I understand your feelings of loss and sadness. We all know that she is not suffering anymore and in a better place but it doesn't help the sadness right now. I think of my dog and cat as my babies and talk to them constantly. They are always with me and keep me from getting lonely. They are always in the same room with me even now as I am in the den on the computer. The have breakfast and lunch with me and sleep with me. I have had to make the decision twice in the past to put 2 of my babies to sleep and it is horrible. My Sheltie was 15 years old and my cat was 20 years old but it was still so hard that I cried for days. I wish I could say something to make you feel better but it just takes time. Our pets are part of our family and are truly missed when we lose them. Hugs, Becky:) |
