Rebif - just curious!
Good Afternoon everyone!
Today is Rebif day and I have a question. Monday night, shortly after my Rebif injection, I started having a tickle in my throat. It went from a tickle to a cough with a little bit of congestion behind it (yuck - sorry!). I was just curious - Rebif or just a tickle? I am kind've paranoid about taking medication - not that I have any allergies (did I just jinx myself?) - but I just wanted to see if anyone else had had something like this happen. :Scratch-Head: I am hoping the answer is - just a coincidence - but I thought I might check! Thanks!!! |
Been on it for almost 3 years now and I've never had that happen!:p

Carolyn, call your doc and ask him/her about it. Rebif and all these drugs are serious drugs, so you have a legitimate reason to call and ask if this was something you need to report.

I have been on Rebif for almost 1yr and I have never experienced that before. Maybe just a co-inki-dink
I would say if it happened again to call the doc. Good luck! |
I was on Rebif over 2 years and never had that happen. How did it go with yesterday's shot?

Thanks for your replies!
I called MSLifeLines yesterday - she pretty much said the same thing - nothing she has ever heard of happening. I made sure I had some Benadryl in the house last night before my injection and I just went for it! I did feel the same little tickle in my throat bit but just a little - in fact....I also felt it just now! Talk about a coinky-dink! :D I think maybe I am just having a sinus attack and am hyper sensitive since I am just really getting started with the Rebif. I'm going to relax and quit worrying about it!!! That's my story and for now....I'm sticking to it!! But I will let ya'll know if anything else comes of it! Thanks again for the support!!! |
