Hello MrsD

Have you ever heard of Allopurinol helping with any other type of joint pain, other than Gout?

A few days after starting this, my joints felt like they were being stabbed to death. Then things seemed to level out and I am actually feeling better.. I did read that a sudden change in Uric Acid levels, even in lowering them with Allopurinol, can cause a gout attack. I would think though that this would mean IF you actually had gout, maybe not...

I thought the fact that it seemed to help might be significant and raced to the Urologist thinking I FINALLY had my pain answer and could hardly wait to tell him... Boy was that a letdown... :) The only person impressed so far, was me... :) :) :)

In case anyone happened to notice my griping and whining, when the squirrel kicked Spook out of his box, my beautiful owl has now returned, so my mood has improved considerably... :) Sometimes, Miss Minnie will not go out, unless she is allowed to use the front yard (Yorkies can be stubborn). If Spook is out there, he just watches her a little too closely, which makes me kind of nervous, she is sooo teensy...

no I can't say...

Unless you had uric acid in those joints causing the problem.

How wierd!

Well, the other pain is making up for it today...

Thanks for hooking me up with the quilters, by the way... :)
