Complicated HSP (cerebellar involvement)
 

Hello,
Does anyone happen to know if the cerebellum may also be affected in rare cases? I'm asking because my diagnosis (SpinoCerebellar Ataxia, type unknown) was made with consideration to my present symptoms only (cerebellar atrophy, hyperreflexia, slurred speech). Yes, spastic paraplegia is definitely in the Ataxia world, too -- though I've only talked with one other Ataxian that has it as a symptom...
