Food Study: oregano
DO NOT USE OREGANO OIL AT FULL STRENGTH!! Please see post #8. I also had a friend use it on her face and said it was quite painful. Essential oils are to be used only with caution. Their fumes, alone, are enough to cause major damage in cats.

Check out the customer reviews. They cover yeast resolution through to eczema resolution in 4 days. I'd be rather careful with herbal oils though... they can burn your skin too... |

Sorry for the bad copy... it's a PDF and I'm using a free Foxit version.
Bottom line: for staph (which quite a few of us get if we've been glutened) oregano water or tea can be effective in helping to clear it. Please see bolding that compares efficacy of water to tea. Quote:

fresh Oregano
So I guess the fresh oregano from my herb bed that I chop up & put on everything that I can is good for me!!!! My oregano has just been going wild & has taken over the one flower bed.
I really encourage everyone to grow a herb garden. They are very low maintenance and you can just stick the plants anywhere in a flower bed or a border... Or just pots on the patio, the benefits are worth the effort. In the South Rosemary grows into a hardy bush. If we accidently get ice or a freeze it just acts like nothing happened to it. |
