Peachysqueeze

Has anyone heard from Stacy? I spoke with her a few times after I got out of the hospital. She had the same surgery as me a month before.

But I haven't been able to reach her lately.

Been worried about her and hoping she's okay.

No BTB, I haven't but I have been thinking about her too, seeing she underwent that really big bowel operationround around the same as I had a similar one. I'm OK, and I'd like to know she was too.

Wow, I had the same operation in October. How are you doing? Were they able to hook everything back up or do you wear a bag?

No bag BTB thank goodness. I was one of the lucky ones and got joined back together. I had to have all the right side of my large bowel... and the end of my small bowel.... removed due to a tumor. I seem to remember peachysqueeze was having all her bowel taken away, not just some of it.

Yes, we had the same surgery. Both had all our colon removed.

Her message said her phone number would be changing and I think she was moving. So hopefully her personal life is just busy and she's doing okay physically.

The surgery was the hardest thing I've ever done but I'm so glad I did. This is the first time I can remember in my life I can eat and go to the bathroom pretty much everyday. :D

I saw this shirt that had a stick figure with it's arms raised in joy and the caption said, "I pooped today!"

I felt like getting it but don't think too many people would understand tho if I wore it out.

What a wonderful shirt, and yes I can relate to that, as I'm sure many more MSers can as well. I can understand your reluctance to wear it out though.....I guess there are some things we just aren't comfortable with sharing with one and all.

That's odd: I was just thinkin' about PeachySqueeze this morning. And then I found this thread.

I loved her bright avatar. Miss her! Hope she finds us soon!

Sorry for all you who have had to have such serious surgeries. :( Glad you're still around to tell about it, though. :)
