MRI and symptoms?

Strange question I have.

Just had a follow up MRI since they were making noises that I may be progressing due to my clinicals.

But apparently the Copaxone is helping. After changes in three brain MRIs during the DX process, I just found out that the one I had last week shows it's been stable since May. :)

Should I ask for a spine to make sure that's ok too, or is this just the wackiness of the disease that sometimes stuff doesn't come up on MRIs?

I would ask for a spinal MRI too. Chris didn't have one orginally and then when we found an MS specialist he had both done and found multiple lesions in the thoraic and cervical spine.

I probably should have said "unchanged" regarding the spine. :o I know that I have three leisons there. Sorry if I confused anyone. :o

Thanks D, I'll probably bring it up during my doc appointment in Feb. :)

FinLady, let us know what happens when you bring this up to your doctor. A friend of mine has lesions in her c-spine, but even with that, her doctor does not deem it necessary to do follow-up spinal MRIs on a regular basis. From what I've seen others go through, this does not seem to be that unusual...!

I'm surprised they haven't already had you take a spinal MRI. What's with them. It's a question I would want answered just to make sure there isn't anything else causing your symptoms.
