Dermatitis Herpetiformis

Can someone please tell me if they have every used Traditional Chinese Medicne, along with herb therapy to treat this? I understand TCM can be very beneficial to rebuilding the immune system, which may help control this disease along with a restricted gluten diet. Please let me hear from you..
Thanks:confused:

Gena,

I'm sorry, I've never used TCM but have done a LOT of reading about it. Not much call for TCM in small town america yet...that's where I am.

I looked up Dermatitis Herpetiformis and found some interesting info... here is a link that may help you.

Medline Plus

I searched many sites but couldn't find any information regarding treating Dermatitis Herpetifomis with Traditional Chinese Medicine.

You may want to ask over on the Gluten Sensitivity/Celiac Forum:
http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum13.html

Seems from what I read that Dermatitis Herpetiformis "may" be linked with Celiac/Gluten Sensitivity.

I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help.
I hope you find the answers you are for which you are needing.
