biofreeze ?

I was going to a chiopractor who used biofreeze and i think that was the only good thing that he did or used. i have gone to several stores to purchase some and i can not find it. I have seen a couple of post here and on other boards from people who use this and I was wondering if some one could tell me where they buy it. I have seen it on ebay and on the net, but i would rather buy it in a store to avoid shipping and handling charges. thanks to anyone who can help me.

Dimarie on the thoracic outlet forum uses it - I'm pretty sure- or something very similar.
I know with Amazon usually if you buy 25.00 or more no shipping charges.

Did chiro try any low level laser, ultrasound, infrared light, NIMMO or IF stim??
mine uses many of these therapies for my TOS, RSI, CMP ect.

Yes, Biofreeze is great. I buy a couple tubes of it from my chiropractor as he always seems to run out. As far as I know, you cannot buy it on their site. Not usually from pharmacies, etc. Sports stores and other such places may have it. My chiropractor also uses ultrasound heat which is great.

I got a couple of small free samples from my P.T. and I was amazed at how well it works. It seems to only be camphor, or something like it, but it does take the pain away, at least temporarily. It's better than nothing.

I get mine from my massage therapist. She always gives me a good deal. I think you'll normally find it in a medical type setting for sure. I love mine. I keep my Biofreeze AND my Tiger Balm on my night stand right next to my bed. Tiger Balm is still at the top of my list, but since it's a strong odor, I use Biofreeze when I don't want to walk around annoying people with a bengay type smell. :D

I've been using Icy Hot at night. I wouldn't want to go around with that in the daytime though:( I still like the Biofreeze and will have to get a couple more tubes of it from my chiropractor. I pay something like $10.69 with tx. Something like that. I wish I could buy it from the company but they don't do that anymore. My chiropractor said they probably stopped doing that because the chiropractors and such complained. Who knows.

I've posted this info in several places, but I'll post it here as well. You can buy biofreeze over the internet for wayyyyyyyy cheaper then you guys are paying. I bought a 32 oz. pump bottle for just over $35.00 which including shipping and tax almost a year ago and I still have plenty left and I use it almost daily. After searching the internet for what seemed forever I finally found this website to be the cheapest

Hope this helps out :)

remember...

Biofreeze has Ilex in it, which other rubs do not.

Ilex is a herb that is also available in tea form called Yerba Mate.

I have had tremendous success with Yerba Mate, for gall bladder issues,
night vision improvement, and overall mood improvement (not an antidepressant- but more of a enhancement to improve pain).

I only use the unsmoked variety-- by Eco Teas. Yerba Mate is almost twice as strong in antioxidant effects than green tea. I think this is significant for healing as well.

Biofreeze has 3.5% menthol in it too.
One can get a 4oz tube now for as low as 6.95 online. Just Google it.

Biofreeze is just wonderful. I discovered it during physical therapy, just over a year ago.

I LOVE my Biofreeze. I get a deal on it from my masseuse. What bothers her though is they are starting to sell it in some local drug stores and she doesn't quite understand how they are managing that.

But anyway, such a coincidence Mrs. D. I just Friday had my first introduction and taste of Yerba Mate. My masseuse recommended it and gave me some. She recommended a specific name, though all she had was the Yerba Mate Royale.

The only thing I don't like about it is that it is sweetened, and I'm a non-sweet tea drinker myself.

She said it's an excellent product.

She also gives me a bottle of Xango each month, which I'm glad for because it's not cheap. It's good stuff too.
