Hi folks,
I just joined this site and want to say Hello to all.
I have had Sx since early 04 and was Dx 01/06 with bulbar onset ALS.
I am still able to walk some with the aid of a walker, am on a bi-pap at night and a little sometimes during the day. I'm unable to speak, but still able to eat, ( too much !), but have trouble with liquids. Other than that life is great !
I don't post much, but I will be reading regularly. If anyone has a question for me, fire away !

And a bunch of us are trying to diet. Some of us are failing...*grin

lurk and read all u want and jump in anytime u want and say what u want please.
i just try to find anything als/mnd on google and post it all here so pals have it easier then having to surf the net to find things.

Sorry to hear about the diet. Today a dear friends speech started to slur, history of ALS in her family. She is going to need neuro doc in PCola, who do you recommend? Thanks Doug
