Hello to all of you, I am new at this . My daughter is going to be told tomorrow if she has MS or not, can any of you tell me how to deal with her, she is very fragile right now
|
Hi.
You sound like a very caring, compassionate Mom. And this must be a very hard time for you. Others (who have knowledge of MS),will hop on board and give you all the support and good information that will be very helpful. Just wanted to say hi and welcome. Take care. |
Hi Ginger and welcome to NeuroTalk. Here is the link to our very active MS forum....http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum17.html
Everyone there is very helpful. |
Hi Gingersnap,
Just be there for her - allow her to express her feelings - and then help her focus on what she can do to manage her illness. Hopefully the dx will not be MS but if it is there are several DMD's that she can take. Her Neuro will explain all this to her. Tell her about this web site - it's awesome and there are some wonderful people here. I'll be thinking of you both - take care. |

Hey,
Welcome to Neurotalk, if you need anything just ask - I will try and help you if I can. I am so sorry that your daughter might have MS. Please let us know how your daughter gets on at the hospital. Thanks Alison |
