Unfortunately - Yes :(
Going numb for a short or long period of time is common in MS. Be sure it has nothing to do with the way your sitting - certain sitting positions can cause different parts of a body to go numb even those without MS can become numb due to their sitting position. |

Bamy,
If this is new to you, call the neuro so they can add it to your files .... Just be careful when you do get up! No Richard Simmons for you during those episodes!! |
i suffer severe numbness in both my feet.
it somehow gets worse as the day wears on. make sure your dr knows. if you're in pain there are meds you can try for neuropathic pain. and, be very careful that you don't injure your feet. wear protective shoes that fit well. and be careful doing any footcare. and, watch out for too hot or too cold. if you notice any changes in your feet or skin check with a foot dr. |
I notice if I sit at my computer for over an hour my butt and legs will go numb and I get the pins and needles feeling in my feet. I just take it as it comes and try and walk around every hour or so which does help.
