URGENT URGENT URGENT

Did anyone notice that they never EVER ever mention RSD or CRPS in the story?????.
The officer is surely suffering from this -OUR DISEASE and not one mention of it, or that this study is about RSD and/or that this treatment has implications for RSD treatment.
The piece only mentions possible care for fibromyalgia and spinal chord injuries when their case study is clearly an RSD sufferer- bone crushing pain - severe sun burn - hello??????.
FOR SHAME on CBS -although they do mirror the general publics lack of knowledge about the disease itself, hence the prevalence and severity of the condition amongst the general population.
It is up to us to change that perception !!!!!!!
I think a flood of emails to CBS requesting a clarification on this matter is in order.

Peace

I met that man in Manhattan at last years RSD walk- He was very nice and definitely has RSD. I too was suprised they never mention RSD. I called to participate in that study but they are only taking people with RSD in one limb. So we continue to suffer....I am glad it is helping him a bit!

My husband consulted with Dr. Cruciani in November regarding the treatment. He said that they were going to start offering the treatment outside of the study sometime in December. My husband is considering trying it. Dr. Cruciani volunteered that he had tried it so he would know what it is like. I have no idea what the cost would be or if insurance would pay for it, but anyone interested should call again.
