mystery--stickiness of hand

husband maintains that when using his computer mouse, if his arm/wrist are not covered by a shirt of some kind, he experiences a "stickiness" of his hand on the mouse pad. He perceives no increase in sweating--actually, has no perception of any substance . Is this just part of the tremor of PD? or in the same category of using "banding" to either refocus peripheral sensory input, or activate other sensory pathways?
just wondering about a strange "sensation"...madelyn
