Piturity Tumor-Have you got one?

I've now had mine for about 20 years, they finally operated on it a couple of years ago but couldn't get it all. So, I'm still on dostinex/cabergoline but I'm not taking many tablets so my periods are gradually getting far apart again (as I didn't have for years until I started my medication). So if you have one of these `gremlims' what side effects do you get? Sometimes I'll get a muscle spasm in my left leg and arm as I'm going to sleep, they've done ecg tests but that was all good. Might be stress? But I don't get stressed! Will be interesting to hear from others. :winky:

Hi Mizzy
My son was diagx with pituatary tumors several years ago. He was about 27. His prolactin level is monitored and MRi;s taken. Yearly follow up at Hershey Medical center. I/we notice the levels of hormones are affected of aggitation, anger can flare, tired amoung some.

I am not sure what medication if any he is taking.
Other then that, sometimes he gets migrains from the pressure on the optic nerve.

My gf from school days had hers removed years ago, not side effects and take medication.
Have you had an MRI to rule out degenerative disk in the back? Common at our age?
Welcome here,
Dianne
