You made me realize that what I've been missing all these years and what's been most frustrating and troubling to me all these years is that I lost my 'cents' when I had MY car accident in 99. I used to be almost perfect with my finances and everything. I even graduated from a top-notch business college. Since then, I've had trouble paying my bills and remember dates, names and times. I try to write things down and keep a log of sorts, but I become easily distracted, naturally.

I'm applying to ssi/di for the first time. And I'm crossing my fingers that the facts alone play a huge role for my case. Please keep me and my familia in your thoughts through your journey.

I am glad to hear things are going well for you with your gf. You deserve happiness in your life. Hope your kids like her too.

Moose is the mascot for my own recovery process. The moose painting was done by one of my late grandfathers. One of my sons loves to say goodnight to the Moose everynight on his way to bed. My first 'hunting' adventure resulted by MY being followed back by a Bull Moose. {btw, we didn't catch anything and it was the first and only time I ever shot...at a can and I missed and ended up with a good bruise on my arm}
And yes, the poem was written on the spot. I, too, know pain.
